jubilinux version 0.2.0 has been posted. 0.2.0 expands upon 0.1.1 by adding additional kernel modules, quieting the spammy kernel debug stream, and miscellaneous additional fixes noted in the changelog.
As of version 0.3.0, which is currently still unstable, jubilinux will be based on Debian Stretch instead of Debian Jessie. This mostly means desperately needed package updates. Further updates will follow once version 0.3.0 is ready for release.
Version 0.1.1 has been posted. Improvements over 0.1.0 are:
127.0.0.1so tools like
- Kernel has been patched to not spam dmesg and syslog when using ‘fuser’ or other ptrace-related system calls.
Version 0.1.0 has been posted. Improvements over 0.0.0 are:
- edison-linux kernel 3.10.98, up from 3.10.17
- first-install.target exists so the post-flash boot sequence requires no manual intervention
- some extra sleep in /etc/rc.local before spawning bluetooth services to ensure the bluetooth stack is running
People seem to be taking jubilinux pretty seriously these days, so I’ve moved it off of its folder on robinkirkman.com and put it up on this shiny new domain with this shiny new WordPress install to back it. Along with this, there is now a github project for issue tracking and a help forum on this site. Time to roll up my sleeves.
